Shirley Cnop (1996, Leuven, BE) is a visual artist.

As a child, I was given a camera early on, and the subsequent journey is filled with familiar clichés. Hitting that shutter button feels hitting pause on life for me. I love using my gut instinct to shake up in traditional photography. In today’s fast-paced world, it's all about looking deeper than what you see at first glance. My work is all about highlighting both the seen and unseen groups, inviting people to dig into their strengths and face their struggles.
